On Wednesday 03 March 2010 at the Hellenic C’ Army Corps/NDC-GR HQ, in the “PEDION AREOS” camp, the change of command ceremony took place.
The withdrawing Commander LtGen Konstantinos Theofanidis, ceding the command of NATO Deployable Corps Greece Headquarters, thanked the military and civilian personnel for the entire help, the irreproachable cooperation and the efforts that they made during his command.
The new Commander, LtGen George Nakopoulos, thanked the withdrawing Commander for taking over the command of a high level of operational readiness, combat capabilities and significant international recognition Headquarters and promised that he will do his best to continue its successful way in order to meet the challenge of a succeed preparation for the NRF 2012.
The Religious and Political Authorities of Thessaloniki as well as representatives of Military Authorities were presented at the change of command ceremony.
